God’s little miracles.

You are created to spread God’s words.

Even when no one is listening. Even when no one is reading. Even when they laugh at you. Even when they challenge you and call you crazy. Even when they tempt you. Even when they don’t understand you.

My first circle of Christ-given friends.

The room was quiet back then. We were all using our phone. Some were scrolling through Facebook, some were listening to music and some were playing games. No one was talking to each other. I guess it was normal when it was still just the first day of school. Our teacher came into the classroom and had us introduced ourselves. It was no surprise for me to find some are parents already too. I am one. Besides, we are the last batch of the old curriculum of our country’s school system so everyone here definitely had a break for a year or 2 with our own personal reasons. I never thought that day, I was gifted with people who will not bring me down but will lift my  FAITH higher than it was.

God will guide you if you let Him.

Fast forward after 3 years, I am still here. I would never be if not for the wonderful people God gave me. We were all teenage moms. How amazing is that? I mean, when I decided to go back to school and finish my degree, I never really thought I’d met young moms like me. While the single ones wants to go out after school, we understand each other why we are all excited to go home. While the single ones wants to go on different outing, we understand each other why our only outing is to the grocery store. While the single ones likes partying, we understand each other that when we do go out to party, we get to be home earlier than others. There are so many things we just naturally understand each other for without the need to give reasons why. We just get it. And when one is down, everybody would remind each other not how brave we are for still making it, but how great is the Lord for still making us make it. It is never awkward to discuss with them the goodness of the Lord. Discussing problems with them ends with a relaxed and calmed mind and heart. They would never forget to say “Hugot na pagtuo lang! ” ( Just hold on to your faith).

God may not remove  your problems and the toxic people from your life even if He can, simply because He wants to use them for your own good.

I told my sisters that being pregnant at a young age will either lead you to a miserable life or a very successful one. I know it’s probably not a good advise since they might think teenage pregnancy is good but I want them to learn that in life, your choice, actions and thoughts will lead you to where you want to be. My cousin got pregnant at a young age too but if you compare our life, not to brag, but I don’t worry that much for financially. I told them that whatever big problem or negative situation they may be in, but if they use that to work hard to change it into something positive, they will be positive. But if they let them be consumed by it, they will be consumed and will live life miserably.

It is never to late with God.

I have nothing else to share but my life stories as it is where I experienced God’s miracles first hand and want to let everyone know that it is real. God is real. And if you surrender to Him, He will heal you from all the negativity that is in you. Even if you let your problems control you and find yourself suffering too much because of it, it is never too late. My God-given friends are not that young anymore but we all go to class everyday and go home to our little ones even though most of our classmate are single and younger 2-3 years from us. My cousin still go on everyday even when she is being pulled down by negativity but still, she continue to live. Somehow, slowly, she is praying for her little ones. She got 3 now and she just realized how faith can move mountains and create miracles.

I pray that you always trust God.

I pray that you would always call to Him.

I pray that you keep your faith stronger than ever.

Life is unfair and that’s okay.

Jesus said, “If someone takes unfair advantage of you, use the occasion to practice the servant life.”

It is okay to be kind without expecting kindness in return. In life, we have to understand that we cannot control how others think, act and feel. We cannot also control 20% of the time the happenings in our life. It is hard to accept these realizations but if you can, life will be more beautiful.

Leave it all to God. You are more than your emotions. You are more than your problems. You are more than who you are now. You are far greater, amazing and nothing is impossible when you and God work together. A powerful master and a brave servant. A beautiful sight to behold. A masterpiece. That is the real you.

But as a servant, what should you do?

“My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass me by. Nevertheless, let it be as You, not I, would have it.” Then, a little while later, he said, “If this cup cannot pass by, but I must drink it, Your will be done!” – Jesus

Suffering is part of the process. We must pray yet accept if it is not given. Always make way for God’s plans. Live life freely. Be really free. Free from pain, free from emotions, free from frustrations. Let go and let God. Our plans doesn’t always work and that’s okay. Not everybody likes us and that’s okay. We can lose people in our life and that’s okay. We can lose our job and that’s okay. Trust that something better is coming. Trust that God’s promises are real and you are going to receive it. Never ask how, where and when. Just trust even if you don’t know. Leave your heart to God.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. – God

This is the promise of God. He is the only one who doesn’t break His promises. Believe and it is now yours.

Just believe.

God, Christian, Purpose, Life

Finding your life’s purpose by giving up.

God created you. He is perfect and never make any mistakes.

Trust in God’s glorious plans.

Imagine that with the billion people in the world, God perfectly planned your life and everyone else’s. The Great Maker carefully selected each people you will meet, each situation you will be in and each places you will go. He made sure that everything will be aligned to His purpose. He created you and He got a reason for it.

“What did He made me for then? Why am I suffering? Is this part of His Glorious Plan? What for? The pain is too much. Why must I go through all of this?”

These are my questions to God when I was thinking of giving up. I lost everything and as cliched as it sound, I had no reason to live for anymore. Everything in my life back then was a mess. It was messier than the beggar’s in the street. Looking back from where I am now though, it was not that big of a deal actually. But that time, it was like the world was so dark, I couldn’t see any reason to live. I was deaf and blind to all positive things. All I saw was just my life ending right before my eyes. Then I prayed. I prayed like crazy because I got no one to talk to. When your sins makes you feel dirty, you don’t confess it to anyone else, sometimes you even deny it to yourself. God sees and knows everything though. And so, when I couldn’t tell anyone what I was going through, He got my back. I didn’t get to talk to Him face-to-face but He sure did made His presence felt.

Give up to find your purpose. Sometimes, when everything else failed us, that’s when we would realize that we got the most powerful ally, God. And God understands that. He is that merciful and would only feel happier that you are now calling to Him. He wants us to call Him so He can help us. By the sin of Adam and Eve, we were given awareness of what’s right and wrong. For God to redeem us, He need us to call unto Him. No matte what our sins are, if we would confess it all to Him, He would listen and forgive us. Pour your heart to the Father. Let Him hear what He can see inside you. Only then, you would find your life’s purpose. By giving up your life to God, Our Father.
